There are many ways to motivate yourself so that we can perservere to achieve your goals. However, what is the best way to motivate yourself?
The most powerful and effective way is to always make it a habit to think positively whatever the situation is.
This is because thinking positively improves our wellbeing as a whole.
Once our overall wellbeing, which includes both our mental and physical health is improved, we will have both the motivation and stamina to persevere and continue with what we are supposed to do.
Thinking positively also enables us to have a clearer picture of what we are doing and where we are heading. It allows us to stay committed to our goals.
Below are some of the ways in which we can always strive to think positively.
All Negative Thoughts Can Be Converted to POSITIVE Thoughts – Enjoying The Fruit Of Your Labour!
Everyone of us has the amazing ability to choose how we want to think.
In every situation, there are always positive and negative aspects no matter how bad a situation is.
It is totally up to us to decide if we want to focus on the positive or negative aspect of the situation.
For instance, if we start to dread going to work every day, it is up to the us to think positively or negatively.
We can choose to focus on the positive aspect of going to work – with the salary earned, we can look forward to a good meal at the end of the week with friends or family members.
If we continue going to work, we will have the financial ability to purchase something which we have always wanted.
We will also be able to save up and eventually reward ourselves by going for an overseas trip.
By thinking positively, we will be able to shift our focus away from dreading to go to work daily, which, in turn, will motivate us to continue to go to work.
If we allow ourselves to continue to focus on dreading to go to work, not only will our daily lives be unhappy, we might one day stop working and our lives might be turned upside down.
In another instance, if we had failed to secure a job or position, we can focus on the positive side by telling ourselves that maybe this position is not suitable for us and that there could be many better opportunities out there waiting for us.
This will motivate us to continue trying and I’m sure, with persistence, our efforts will be rewarded.
Another effective way is to start your day positively, instead of having negative thoughts with some motivational quotes, just like the ones in the following video.
Most importantly, do not think negatively – do not allow yourself to continue to feel defeated. Just know that nothing will come out of feeling dejected.
Knowing You Have The SUPPORT From Someone or Something.
Another way to be more positive is to derive your positivity from someone or something.
This includes sticking to people who are positive. This is even more important when we are in a challenging situation.
When we are in a less positive situation, our motivation can be easily diminished by listening to negative advice.
This is the time we want to be motivated by people who are positive and stay away from people who constantly brings you down or saying things which prevents you from moving forward.
Some people also derive their positivity from physical objects such as good luck charms, crystals, etc.
They believe that carrying these items with them will help to remove negative energy which will in turn, provide better luck in whatever they are doing.
Knowing that we have an item which provides this additional help with us will motivate us to continue with our daily endeavours and/or projects more positively.
Some people who are more spiritual engage in meditation, prayers and/or reciting mantras to bring in more positivity to their life.

Personally, I had developed a habit of reciting a mantra which is supposed to remove negative energy in me every morning.
I feel that this habit of reciting mantra every morning without fail, not only instills self-discipline in me but also enables me to start my day positively.
Seek INSPIRATION – You Are Not Alone.
Another way to be positive whenever you feel defeated is to seek inspiration from people who are successful.
I have read about how some people became successful and how they perservered after meeting with failures to be where they are now.
I have gained inspiration from the fact that many of them started off with nothing much and I can totally relate to this.
This motivated me and pushed me to continue with pursuing my goals whenever I feel stressed and wanted to give up.
For instance, the founder of Ray-Ban, Leonardo Del Vecchio was an orphan. In the process of reading about his path to becoming the founder of a business empire, I have also learnt some important lesson and tips.
We can also seek encouragement and motivation from quotes which resonate with the current difficulties which we are facing.
For instance, whenever I do not feel like doing anything or start to procrastinate, I will always go back to one of my favourite quote:

Always Be ENERGIZED – Get Enough Rest.
In order to maintain a positive mindset, it is very important not to tire ourselves out.
This is because it is really very difficult to be positive and persevere over a long term when we are lack of energy.
When we do not have enough energy, it is extremely tough to get things done effectively and because of this, we can get demotivated and eventually, increase the tendency to give up.
So, always make sure to get enough rest.
Having enough rest enables us to be able to focus better and increase our ability to handle difficult or complex tasks better.
This way, we will be able to perform tasks more effectively and efficiently.
We will be able feel good about ourselves and this will provide us with more motivation.

Therefore, instead of wasting our energy thinking negatively, why don’t we spend our energy to be positive, happpier and eventually, be motivated to work towards our goals.
